Zakopane

A quick update from Zakopane.

I am sitting in the passenger seat of our cargo van driving 150km/hr back to Munich from Zakopane, POL. We were supposed to have two competitions in Zakopane but yesterday's Mass Start was canceled because the XC stadium melted too much overnight. However, the organizers worked yesterday and we were able to have a Sprint competition today. Billy jumped ok and was 21st after jumping but only 1:07 behind first place. After three and half laps around a 1.9km loop Billy was in 2nd place. At the end, even with the fastest time, he had to settle for a close 3rd place.

Johnny has been doing better in training and simply had a bad jump today. He is looking forward to Lahti this Friday.

Until Lahti.

What a great skiing Billy in terrible conditions. It´s a pity that you lose good fighting opportunity against Ackermann because weather conditions and canceled competitions. Keep up the good spirit and good luck here in Lahti, Finland. Hopefully in here weather will be little better next weekend, all the best with love.
