We have completed 2 out 3 competitions in Vuokatti, Finland and 5 out of 6 competitions in the first period.  We have our last competition for this period tomorrow.  The first competition yesterday was a mass start competiton.  Eric Camerota skied strong and was in touch with the lead group in 5th place going into the final 2.5km loop but couldn't keep the pace up and ended up 14th after the race.  He had a pretty good jumping competition and when all was said and done he ended up in 8th place.  Bryan Fletcher also skied strong, finishing the race in 19th place.  In the jumping competition his last jump wasn't his best and ended up in 27th.  

Today we did a sprint competiton and again Eric was the best guy.  He jumped to 11th place and was looking to move up.  He worked hard but in the end only managed to 14th but was 11 seconds from 6th.  He is really close to getting a top result.  We are looking forward to tomorrow.  Another highlight of the day was Alex Miller.  He jumped to 15th place and had a great race and ended up 24th overall.
