We are now in Einsiedeln after we competed last night in Obertsdorf. It was not the best day for USA but that is how it goes sometimes. We are testing a lot of different formats and changes during the Summer Grand Prix. One of the new changes is that we will take one jump the day before the competition that is a kind of provisional competition. It will only be used in case we can't compete the next day. In Obertsdorf it was our first chance to test this provisional or deposit competition. Because it was too windy on Tuesday night the competition was canceled and we used the previous night's competition for the race on Tuesday.

Confused?

Unfortunately the boys didn't jump too well on Monday night. Johnny was the best after jumping, 25th place and Billy was 33rd. Johnny had a good race with the exception of 4th lap of 9 where his back seized and finished 23rd. Billy bladed to the 3rd fastest time and 19th overall. The new format cuts the field to 40 for the race and unfortunately Alex and Eric did not qualify to race.
